It’s either one issue voters blinded by the “truth” and or Party loyalty with the money he can raise. I guess principles, integrity and moral values take a back seat to those who would support this type of “failed” leader for our Republican Party. I see many on his list of supporters that claim to be Christian Conservatives a little soul searching may be in order.
The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity. Without it, no real success is possible, no matter how much money one can raise! If you don’t have integrity, you have nothing. You can’t buy it. You can have all the money in the world, but if you are not a moral and ethical person, you really have nothing.
Integrity is not a conditional word. It doesn’t blow in the wind or change with the weather. To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.
One of the truest tests of integrity is its blunt refusal to be compromised. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
“The Role of the Chairman”
The duties of the chairman are typically concerned with the party membership as a whole, and the activities of the party organization. (Here in Michigan we have been losing membership at an alarming rate.)
Chairmen often play important roles in strategies to recruit and retain members, in campaign fundraising, and in internal party governance, where they may serve as a member of, or even preside over, a governing board or council.
Claims of money raised are fuzzy math at best and his involvement with the delegate rule change shenanigans. They often also have influence in candidate selections, and sometimes in the development and promulgation of party policy.
As chairman overseen the Nancy Cassis fiasco in the McCotter resignation which allowed a Democrat to be seated for the remaining term in congress over Kerry Bentivolio,
In the case of Mr. Schostak he has been a complete and total “failure” in this respect! With that being said, we need a new leader with a fresh vision moving forward who can strategize and unite “our” Party. Clearly we have a huge divide at present.
